Puppy ownership did have it's down. Rascal had a few incidents in the house. Sha was good about correcting his behavior and cleaning up after him. Making the adjustment from having a toddler to have a kid was still a work in progress for me. I wanted to do more things for Davis, but he wanted to be a big boy and do it himself.

Going Solo: Kerri 2.15
Our house grew by one. Sha loved animals and thought that Davis needed a puppy to grow up with. (currently forgot what I named him) Davis loved the little puppy and who was I to say no to a face like that?

Going Solo: Kerri 2.14
"When were you planning on telling me I had a son?"
"I...I wasn't."
"You need to put her son down, and leave now." Sha said, but Boyd ignored her.
His eyes were focused on me, and me alone.
"You weren't going to tell me?" he yelled.

Going Solo: Kerri 2.13
"Boyd...what...what are you doing here?"
"Looking for you. You are a hard woman to find. Took the PI I hired weeks to locate you."
I thought back and remembered the guy that was taking pictures. He was a PI? Hired by Boyd? Suddenly I was very nervous. How long had that guy been following me? Did he know where Sha and I lived? Had he seen Davis? That last question was the most worrisome.
"Why were you looking for me?"
He gave me a smile, the one that used to make my heart beat a little faster and he took a step closer.

Going Solo: Kerri 2.12
Davis was the apple of my eye, and Sha's as well. He was a sweet little boy and we really got into a routine with the parenting. Life was good, he was smart and picked up walking and talking rather quickly.
